Hi. I’m Sarah.
I help companies, their leadership teams, and their partners maximize recognizable growth potential. I’m a former C-Suite executive and Board Member with experience in company transitions, business strategy, Board formation and management, and team professionalization. I have two decades of experience helping leaders make the best decisions for themselves and their companies at key moments of transition.
With direct experience in four company sales/acquisitions processes, I have a demonstrated ability to lead companies through explosive growth phases and transactions. I have overseen: two acquisitions of a private company by a strategic services partner, a corporate carve out and acquisition by an investment partner, and the acquisition and integration of a professional services firm. I have worked on the other side of transactions to facilitate company integration and steward leadership and structural changes in organizations following M&A.
I founded The Newhall Group because I’ve seen firsthand how hard it is to grow quickly while staying true to your organization’s founding principles without burning yourself out. I’ve seen how companies benefit from having partners who get what they’re going through, and who can translate the work, the long-term options, and demystify the process. I believe that companies are able to do their best work and create options and incentives for everyone when they understand what they need to do to grow sustainably, when they have clarity around what they’re working towards, and when they feel authentically supported.

Sarah Newhall
Working across organizations going through explosive growth periods, I’ve gained experience as a corporate executive who has focused directly on how to solve institutional challenges. I’ve helped professionalize teams and organizations, identifying high level objectives and defining and setting the strategies that help organizations achieve those objectives.
I have also worked with clients across the nonprofit, advocacy, and corporate spaces to help them do the above, as well as find ways to use digital and multichannel programs to meet their objectives. I care deeply about progressive causes and purpose-driven organizations. I’m passionate about developing strategic programs and products that enable mission-driven organizations to accomplish their objectives.
I enjoy coaching and mentoring individuals and teams through growth and change management, and bring a willingness to dig in and understand the core issues while figuring out how everyone moves forward. I’m dedicated to the professional development and advancement of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ employees.
