Rule #1: Relationships Matter

Relationships *still* matter. Your relationships are one of your most valuable resources, whether they are personal relationships, professional development relationships, prospective new business relationships, or beyond.

Check in with the people in your network. I love a good in-person opportunity to connect over coffee, a meal, or a walk, but I don’t sleep on staying connected virtually. A video-based coffee, breakfast, or hangout counts as a connection! Better yet, take a phone call while going for a walk.

Don’t undervalue your network and your relationships. Invest time and care in cultivating them. Then watch them continue to flourish and grow.

What can you do in the next two weeks to tend to your relationships? Can you reach out to two people you haven’t connected with in a while and make time to catch up?
